Engineers from the Pakistan Army have finally restored the Bahrain Bridge in Swat.
The Pakistan Army Engineering Corps has repaired the Bahrain bridge in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), which was devastated by last month’s floods.
It has also increased its efforts to rehabilitate the province’s devastated infrastructure, as directed by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
The restoration of the bridge excited the people, who had been unable to visit other parts of the region.
Bahrain Bridge connects the town to Swat’s major area, which includes Mingora and Khwazakhela.
Floods washed it away, isolating Bahrain from the rest of the area and dividing it into two distinct parts.
