A bomb in Kohlu, Balochistan, killed one and wounded at least 12 others.

According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred in a store.

According to the police, the wounded were taken to District Headquarters Hospital, and the explosion scene was blocked off for investigation. According to reports, one of the wounded is in serious condition.

Several persons are trapped under shop wreckage as a consequence of the explosion, but a rescue attempt is ongoing, they said.

According to the police, a bomb disposal crew has been sent in to determine the nature of the explosion.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Education Minister Naseebullah Marri inspected the health facilities at the DHQ hospital.

Mir Zia Langove, Adviser to the Chief Minister for Home Affairs, has requested a report on the Kohlu explosion and instructed appropriate agencies to investigate all elements of the disaster.

“We will not allow terrorists to accomplish their nefarious goals,” he said.
