KARACHI: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced that applications are now open for the Omani Scholarship Program 2025–26, offering fully funded scholarships to Pakistani students for undergraduate studies at select universities in Oman.
This prestigious initiative is part of Oman’s commitment to promoting international education and fostering academic cooperation between Pakistan and Oman. Backed by the HEC, the program aims to strengthen cultural exchange and create opportunities for talented Pakistani youth to study in Oman’s leading universities.
Fields of Study Available
Applicants can pursue Bachelor’s degree programs in:
- Engineering
- Humanities
- Information Technology (IT)
- Natural and Applied Sciences
(Note: Medical degrees are not covered under this scholarship program.)
Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates will receive:
- 100% tuition fee waiver
- Monthly stipend: OMR 200 (without housing) or OMR 140 (with housing)
- One round-trip air ticket each academic year
- Opportunity to choose up to 3 universities and 2 academic majors

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Oman Scholarship for Pakistani Students 2025–26, applicants must:
- Hold Pakistani nationality
- Have completed Intermediate or equivalent in the last 3 years
- Be 23 years old or younger
- Be medically fit
- Obtain an Equivalency Certificate from Oman’s Ministry of Education
Application Deadlines
- Direct university application: By August 25, 2025
- HEC submission deadline: September 23, 2025
