TikTok is developing new approaches to attract users and maintain its devoted followers. The social networking site is now working on adding HTML 5 mini-games to keep users entertained while viewing videos.
A spokesperson for TikTok responded to the news, saying:
We’re always looking at ways to enrich our platform and regularly test new features and integrations that bring value to our community. Currently, we’re exploring bringing HTML5 games to TikTok through integrations with third-party game developers and studios.
Since the beginning of the year, rumours have been circulating regarding TikTok’s HTML5 mini-games. Zynga, a maker of mobile games, collaborated with TikTok to release Disco Loco 3D, a game that is comparable to Zynga’s other well-known game High Heels. There are also talks taking on to add more developers and studios to the list of partners that TikTok has worked with.
When the functionality is used, TikTok will definitely have an edge over its rivals.
