A German IT company intends to open a software development centre in Pakistan.
SAP, a German IT firm, intends to establish a software development centre in Pakistan to provide different capacity-building programmes to thousands of Pakistani students.
SAP Country Managing Director Saquib Ahmad told a group of journalists that the business was in the process of obtaining regulatory clearance to establish a Software Development Center in Pakistan.
He is hopeful that SAP will acquire permissions from several institutions by next year, which will be a significant step toward establishing the software development house aimed at generating work possibilities for students and professionals by teaching them in in-demand industries.
Several global social media and IT companies have established educational units in Pakistan in recent years, including Facebook, which established innovation labs at LUMs in 2019, and Google, which launched a Gaming Growth Lab in Pakistan, a virtual programme designed to assist emerging mobile-gaming enterprises in expanding their offerings and growing their businesses.
SAP is now delivering digital solutions to prominent Pakistani firms in the public and private sectors, allowing them to expand faster.
It has collaborated with top IT businesses in Pakistan, including Systems Limited, IBM, and Siemens, according to him.
“From companies manufacturing home goods to the car and energy sectors, education networks, medicines, and textile centres, SAP has shown to be a success factor in helping them to fulfill objectives and broaden their scope.”
He went on to say that SAP Pakistan’s clientele range from multinationals to Small and Medium Enterprises, and that SAP is capable of providing a customized created solution to consolidate the demand and improve it for the desired vision.
