This was in response to the consensus reached by their leaders.
The Chinese embassy and consulate in Pakistan have been in regular contact and collaboration with the Pakistani government about the protection of Chinese institutions and employees there, the spokesperson said in response to a question regarding the safety of Chinese citizens and assets. In order to secure the Chinese workers working on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and other intergovernmental cooperation projects, the Pakistani government has established a special security unit, the official noted.
