Google Announces the Release Date of Its iPhone 14 Competitors

The two phones will have superior hardware and will be released sooner than you think.

Google has set a date for the release of its next flagship phone series, as well as the Pixel Watch and Buds Pro.

The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro were first announced in May at Google’s I/O conference, but the official release date has now been announced.

Google will reveal its future phones on October 6 at 7 p.m. PKT. Google has also revealed the name of their next-generation SoC, which will power Pixel 7 smartphones.

According to most reports, it will be named as the Tensor G2 rather than the Tensor 2. The G might stand for “Google” or a shortened form of “gen 2,” or both.

We also know what the Google Pixel 7 will look like thanks to teasers released by the company a few months ago.

The Pixel phones retain the same camera shield design, but there are separate cutouts for each lens this time.

The rest of the phone is largely the same as before, but with somewhat lower display bezels.

Google has also disclosed the colour possibilities for Pixel 7 phones. The Pixel 7 will be offered in Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow colours, while the Pixel 7 Pro will be available in Hazel instead of Lemongrass.

Apart than the second-generation Tensor chipset, we don’t know much about the Pixel 7’s specifications. According to speculations, the standard Pixel 7 will include a 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens, while the Pixel 7 Pro will have an extra 48MP telephoto lens.
The Pixel 7 will be somewhat smaller than the Pixel 6 at 6.3-inches (down from 6.4′′), but the Pixel 7 Pro will be the same size as its predecessor.

The phones might possibly have a different display panel, although the resolution and adaptive refresh rate are believed to remain same.
