Yamaha’s Limited Time Bike Installment Plan
A growing number of buyers are concerned about recent bike price increases. Yamaha motorcycles, in particular, have seen a major price surge in recent years.
Yamaha has introduced a zero-margin payment plan to entice such consumers. Customers may purchase a bike on zero-interest payments that they must pay off in four months, according to the scheme.
It is important to note, however, that this payment plan is subject to certain requirements. According to a dealership, the plan would be offered in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
It continued by stating that buyers could only get this price from authorised Yamaha dealerships. Aside from that, the corporation provides no alternative payment options to its consumers, even at a premium.
Schedule of Payments
Yamaha’s dealership informed pakmatters that the company accepts a 50% down payment, with the balance due in equal percentages over the next four months. The payment schedule for all motorcycles is as follows based on that calculation:
YB 125Z
0% Mark-up Installment Plan @ 50% Down Payment & 4 Easy Monthly Installments (EMI) | |
Price | Rs. 286,000 |
Down Payment (50%) | Rs. 143,000 |
Per Month Installment – (Till 4th Month) | Rs. 35,750 |

YBR 125G (Matte Edition)

Yamaha’s offer seems little in contrast to Pak Suzuki Motor Company’s (PSMC) plans. For all motorcycles, the former offers 18-month and 24-month 0% markup options.
Atlas Honda only provides zero-markup plans to certain cards, but their payment plans are also much longer than Yamaha’s. As a result, Yamaha is at a disadvantage when it comes to its main rivals.
Price Increases
Interestingly, Yamaha increased the price of all motorcycles for the sixth time this year. Yamaha’s most popular bike, the YBR-125G, now costs Rs. 331,000 with the recent price increase.
For comparison, the YBR-125G currently costs Rs. 34,000 less than Pakistan’s most costly domestically made commuter bike, the Suzuki GR-150, which costs Rs. 365,000.
With this price increase, Yamaha has entered the 150cc bike market, and its demand may be limited by its ‘limited’ payment plan.
