The individual in question, a resident of Abbottabad who moved to Karachi in 2016, was captured by local residents in the Qayyumabad area before being transferred to the Defense Police. The significant development occurred when a courageous young survivor retrieved a USB drive from the suspect’s residence and handed it to a shopkeeper.
This drive allegedly contained unsettling videos of the assaults, which led the community to detain the offender. A Disturbing Confession During the police interrogation, the suspect is said to have confessed to targeting girls between the ages of 7 and 13, as reported by South SSP Mahzoor Ali.
He acknowledged that his criminal activities commenced in 2016 and intensified considerably from 2019. In a startling admission, he revealed that he manipulated victims into bringing other girls to him, with some suffering from repeated assaults. Targeting the Most Vulnerable
Authorities disclosed that the suspect allegedly targeted the daughters of domestic workers and maids, taking advantage of their socioeconomic vulnerabilities. By posing as a sharbat seller, he purportedly enticed victims with small amounts of money or other incentives, exploiting their trust.
The investigation took a more sinister turn when police uncovered that the suspect had recorded his offenses. Nearly 100 videos were reportedly retrieved from his mobile device, along with a diary that listed the names of victims and the dates of the attacks, revealing the calculated nature of his actions.
