The ongoing annual intermediate exams have been postponed by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Karachi due to the Met Office’s prediction of heavy rains in the province capital.
The development also corresponds with the province government’s plan to close all schools and institutions for two days in anticipation of heavy rains.

All inter examinations planned for the 24th and 25th of August have been rescheduled, according to an official announcement published by the BISE Karachi. The updated timetable for the postponed examinations will be released later.
The rescheduled examinations will be held at the same times and locations as before. Students will also be permitted to use previously issued roll number slips.
Heavy rains have already affected Karachi’s daily life, including yearly examinations. As a consequence, a number of intermediate examinations were postponed by the board.
The tests slated for August 11 and 13 have been postponed by BISE Karachi. The tests that had been postponed for August 11th were conducted on August 22nd.
