Pakistan-born Farrukh Kamran has joined the prestigious Swedish hypercar manufacturer Koenigsegg.

The company is well-known for producing superfast, powerful, lightweight, and technologically complex sports cars such as the CCX, Agera, Regera, Jesko, and the upcoming three-cylinder hypercar, Gemera.

According to a recent update, the UET Alumni has joined the firm as a design engineer. Kamran will be in charge of making vehicles quicker, more stable, agile, and better overall in terms of road and track performance.

Kamran formerly worked at EPakistan-born Farrukh Kamran electric automobiles (EVs).

Kamran, a natural-born mechanical engineering enthusiast, claims that his passion with “how things function” led him along this academic and professional route.

During his stay in Muscat, where he worked for Petroleum Development Oman, he honed his skills in mechanical design engineering (PDO).

His position pushed him to dive deeper into SolidWorks software, 3D modelling, and printing, allowing him to develop his art.

After joining the firm, Kamran stated:

I am delighted to have been hired as a Manufacturing Engineer by Koenigsegg Automotive AB. It is time to bid farewell to my wonderful colleagues at Elonroad AB.

We’ve had a fantastic journey together to electrify the roadways, and I’ve had the incredible chance to work with a brilliant team.

Kamran’s enrollment at Koenigsegg has been acknowledged and commended by the general public.
