MDCAT 2022 will be conducted in Pakistan from September 7th to September 30th. For overseas students, the deadline is October 1, 2022.
Based On two recent conferences held with dental colleges of Pakistan, The Colleges Submitted their recommendations related to lowering MDCAT Pass Percentage for admission in detal progam to national academic board for consideration.
The Board Has directed to National Medical to collect the data of average MDCAT Score from the provinces as well as from Jinah Medical Univeristy.
The Board lower the MDCAT Pass Marks for BDS Program to 55% subject to analysis asked from provinces. The council on the 12th meeting held on 27th June ,2022.
MDCAT has nothing to do with FSC; it is an evaluation exam. No legislation requires me to take the MDCAT using just the Fsc or common curriculum. The MDCAT entrance exam will be centred on logical thinking. That’s all.
The National MDCAT is now administered using computer rather than pen and paper. According to PMC, this is being done to alleviate students’ concerns about not having a carbon copy or question paper. In addition, MDCAT results will be presented on the computer screen as soon as the student completes the exam.
A comprehensive policy will be implemented. This should apply equitably to improves, repeaters, and freshers.
There was no single MDCAT this time.
Multiple exams will be administered (perhaps three, four, or even more) to accommodate the 130k+ students. Students will report to test centres to take the exam.
Each student may only take one MDCAT. As soon as the test is completed, the results will be presented on the screen.
MDCAT 2022 will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
PMC will hold the MBBS Admission Test (MDCAT 2022). THE National MDCAT will be held from August 15, 2022 to August 30, 2022. The second phase will run from September 5, 2022 to September 20, 2022. PMC will hold an entry exam across Pakistan. The same exam is used for both private and public sector medical colleges.
Examination centres would be established across Pakistan, especially in Gilgit Baltistan and AJ&K.

MERIT Formula Has Been Modified
The merit calculation for medical school entrance has changed.
The determination of merit for forthcoming admission would be based only on the student’s performance in scientific electives. as a result of government policy
Biology, physics, and chemistry were among the disciplines covered.
All students taking their Fsc will be subject to this policy. As well as those applying based on their Fsc or A-Level results from the previous year. To verify that there is no prejudice in the Merit calculation.
It should be mentioned that applicants must have an HSSC Certificate with an aggregate score of 65 percent or above.
