Pakistan is expected to be removed off the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list when the FATF plenary conference concludes on Friday in Berlin.
According to finance ministry officials, latest developments on the plenary conference in Berlin point to a decision in Pakistan’s favour. While other nations’ permission and consolation at the summit is equally crucial. FATF can vote to remove Pakistan off the grey list.
Pakistan will be required to provide a compilation report on all 27 tasks in the final week of June, while a FATF mission will visit Pakistan for an on-site inspection.
The FATF on-site visit team may visit Pakistan in the final week of July and will visit all relevant institutions.
