Police have found the debris of a missing Pakistan Army helicopter.

At 5:30 p.m. yesterday, a Pakistan Army helicopter went missing.

With key people onboard, the chopper was traveling from Quetta to Karachi when it vanished at about 5:30 p.m.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the aviation helicopter had lost communication with air traffic control while performing a flood rescue mission in Lasbela, Balochistan (ATC).

Six individuals were on board, including Corp Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali, who was overseeing the province’s flood relief efforts.

The wrecked helicopter was found near Haji Moosa Goth, which is about seven to eight kilometres from Abbas Police Post in Sakran, according to the senior superintendent of police for Lasbela.
