ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has officially resigned from four key National Assembly (NA) standing committees, confirming his decision on Thursday.
The move comes after PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan directed party lawmakers to step down from all committee memberships in protest against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), which had disqualified several PTI members over their alleged involvement in the May 9 riots following Imran Khan’s arrest.
