The rain is forecasted to affect major cities and regions across Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Lahore, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Okara, Sahiwal, Kasur, Jhang, Sargodha, Mianwali, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, and Rajanpur. Citizens are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period.
Authorities warn of possible localized flooding, waterlogging, and traffic disruptions in low-lying areas. Residents are urged to follow official PDMA updates, avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rainfall, and ensure proper drainage at homes and workplaces to minimize risks.
