India has the third-largest Start-Up Ecosystem in the world, with over 72,600 firms that have received DPIIT recognition spread throughout 649 districts. The success of Indian founders in growing their businesses into unicorn companies and successful IPOs has stoked the expectations of young people, most of whom come from non-metros.
According to a Google India article, non-metros already make up roughly 50% of all officially recognised companies in India. The mentorship programme is intended to lower the proportion of firms that fail in the first stages. 90% of businesses fail during the first five years of operation, and the main causes are typically the same: uncontrolled cash burn, incorrect demand estimation, inefficient feedback loops, or a lack of leadership, the report stated.
India Startup School
Startup School offers the online education and resources startup owners require to advance their businesses. Setting OKRs, hiring technical personnel, setting up a data pipeline, and getting started with Google products are all topics covered in this seminar. Google specialists, unicorn entrepreneurs, and VCs will present live lectures on these themes. Having worked with several startups, Google is able to manage the operation with the most inventive people.
The course material will include learning modules on topics like developing a successful product strategy, going in-depth on product user value, developing roadmaps and PRDs, creating apps for the Next Billion Users in places like India, and more.
Additionally, conversations about what makes a successful entrepreneur, formalising recruiting, and other topics will present opportunity for founders to obtain orthogonal insights.
Key stages to creating a successful firm are now being covered at the Startup India course, which kicked up with a discussion on product and design strategy. Don’t wait any longer to join up for the session where hopefuls will discover how to create goods that people will adore.
