Tecno Pova Neo 5G is now available for $191 with a large battery and a 120Hz display.
The Pova Neo 5G is Tecno’s newest mid-range smartphone. The budget phone has recently arrived in India, with reasonable specs and a low price. It should be available shortly in other countries.
Display and Design
The phone’s display is a 6.8-inch IPS LCD with 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz for smooth scrolling.
The back panel has a diamond pattern, and the fingerprint sensor is placed on the side, above the power button.
Software and Internals
Internal hardware comprises a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC with a single memory option of 4 GB/ 128 GB. A memory card may also be used to expand storage.
For software, you get Tecno’s HiOS 8.6 on top of Android 12.
Cameras
On the rear, there are just two cameras: a 50MP primary sensor and an unspecified “AI” module. It is likely to support 1080p 30 FPS video recording as well as a few AI functions. Inside the punch-hole cutout is an 8MP selfie camera.
Pricing and Battery
A large 6,000 mAh battery has been included, which should keep the phone running for more than two days. It comes with 18W wired charging.
The Tecno Pova Neo 5G starts at at $191. Sapphire Black and Sprint Blue will be the colour choices.
