In order to pay their application fees, candidates for employment under the Punjab Public Service Commission are needed to go to the branch of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) that is located closest to them (PPSC). On the other hand, the PPSC has now come to the conclusion that it would be to the applicants’ benefit to include an electronic payment system into the job application site. This will take place in the near future.

In light of this, a spokeswoman for the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) said that the e-payment system was designed in conjunction with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).

When applicants submit their applications on the PPSC’s online employment site after the 1st of August 2022, they will be granted a 17-digit Payment Slip ID (PSID). They will be needed to submit the fee against the PSID through an ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Microfinance Banks, or directly over the counter at the 1Link member banks and branches that are located closest to them.

Immediately after the candidate’s payment of the fee, the PPSC will send them a confirmation SMS as well as an email. Candidates will be allowed to finish their applications on the PPSC’s employment site after their eligibility has been confirmed.

In addition, the spokesman said that the e-payment method is planned to not only make things easier for the applicants, but also to speed up the process of applying for jobs. In addition to assisting in the automation of receipt verification, this will put a stop to challan forms that are false or underpaid.
In a separate event that took place earlier this week, the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) decided to postpone all of the General Recruitment (GR) examinations that were scheduled to take place in Karachi because of the bad weather.
