Air fares between the UAE and Pakistan have dropped to a year’s low.

After most people went home from their summer holidays, airfares from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan have dropped to the year’s low.

A one-way ticket from Dubai to Karachi presently costs less than Dh. 400 (Rs. 26,000), according to the data.

According to Raja Mir Wasim, the manager of a Dubai-based travel firm, current airfares are still higher than they were during the pandemic’s first two years since demand was low owing to travel restrictions, and individuals were concerned about being stuck abroad.

It should be noted that Pakistan is a big contributor to the UAE’s travel and tourist business. According to Abu Dhabi Airports, Pakistan’s passenger volume was around 485,000 in the first half of this year. During the same time period, approximately 1.7 million travellers flew from Dubai International Airport to Pakistan, making it one of the airport’s top ten destinations.

Earlier this month, one-way ticket prices from the UAE to Pakistan for the Eid holidays reached Dh. 8,000. (approx. Rs. 515,000).

However, a South Travels DMCC representative said that costs will be reduced by the end of July, with a complete restoration to ordinary pricing by the end of September.
