Umar Gul says he has a strategy in place to stop Babar and Rizwan from scoring big.
The Afghan bowling coach is certain that his strategy would be implemented perfectly against Pakistan.
Umar Gul, Afghanistan’s bowling coach, claimed to have devised a clever strategy to prevent Pakistani openers Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam from racking up runs against his squad.
During a pre-match news conference, Gul said clearly that Rizwan and Babar are world-class batsmen. He expressed optimism that Afghanistan would carry out the plan perfectly in order to get the pair out as soon as possible.
Afghanistan’s squad has performed well in the tournament, according to Gul, who advises Afghan players to concentrate on the game at hand and not allow prior clashes with Pakistan influence their decisions.
When asked about Pakistan’s bowling attack, Gul said that the squad is without famous bowler Shaheen Afridi. In Shaheen’s absence, Harris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Hasnain, and Shahnawaz Dahani have all put in strong performances.
