The recent floods in Pakistan have devastated the agricultural industry, causing billions of rupee damages in four provinces, with Sindh suffering the most catastrophic losses.
According to a report by the Ministry of National Food Security and Research (MoNFSR), overall crop losses in the nation have topped Rs. 320 billion (excluding Punjab, for which comprehensive data has not been published yet).
According to the study, 2,845,046 acres of agriculture in Sindh have been completely or partly destroyed, 14,397 acres in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been lost, and 108,295 acres have been lost in Balochistan.

Sindh
Cotton, sugarcane, onion, Kharif chilies, rice, and date palms were the most impacted crops in the province, according to reports, with cotton and date palm fields entirely devastated.

Balochistan
Balochistan is Pakistan’s biggest province in terms of land area, yet it only provides 3.8 percent of total agricultural production and experienced the second-highest crop loss in terms of acres.
