Mobile services suspended in parts of Karachi

KARACHI: Karachiites were inconvenienced on Saturday morning as mobile phone services were disrupted in numerous parts of the city owing to Eid Milad un Nabi protection measures, which fall on Sunday (September 9).

According to a spokesman for the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, cellphone services were halted in several sections of the city due to government directives on the 11th and 12th of Rabi ul Awal.

Mobile services were suspended in Gulistan-e-Johar, Defence, Saddar, Nazimabad, and other places.
