First domestic Haval H6 produced in Pakistan

Earlier this year, the company announced new pricing, features, and variants of the indigenized H6. However, recent inflation has led to massive rising prices.

The following are the specifications of domestically assembled H6 models:

Details

As previously announced, the H6 will be offered in two models in Pakistan: 1.5T FWD and 2.0T AWD (AWD). Because of its size, the H6 competes with both midsize and small SUVs. Its primary rivals are the MG HS, Changan Oshan X7, Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, DFSK Glory 580 Pro, and other SUVs of a comparable size.

The standard model is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 147 horsepower and 220 Newton-meters of torque, which is routed to the front wheels through a 7-speed DCT automated transmission.

The highest model is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 224 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque and transmits it to all four wheels through a comparable gearbox.

The car features independent suspension all around, providing a smooth ride. It also includes ABS brakes with EBD and BA technology for effective braking.

As a new-generation SUV, the Haval H6 2.0T AWD will have features such as:

  • Six airbags
  • 360-degree camera
  • Control of Traction and Stability
  • Descent Control and Hill Start Assist
  • System for Monitoring Tire Pressure (TPMS)
  • Collision Alert
  • Braking on its own
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
  • Charging wirelessly
  • Intelligent Entertainment systems System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Configuration
  • Climate control with rear air conditioning vents
  • Keyless entrance and departure
  • Parking Brake (Electronic)
  • Various driving modes
  • Sunroof with panoramic views
  • Seats with ventilation
  • Heads-up Display (HUD) (HuD)
  • Lighting in the background

Price

Following the latest change, the new Haval H6 pricing are as follows:

Models Cost (Rs.)
7,425,000 Haval H6 1.5 FWD
8,499,000 Haval H6 2.0 AWD

While the new price increase does not bring the H6 up to level with its competition, it does make the SUV more appealing. While the H6 lacks practicality, it outperforms its rivals in terms of performance, particularly the 2.0 AWD model.

However, given current fuel costs, not many people will favour large energy consumption. Given these considerations, H6’s rivalry has grown much more intense than previously.
